This is the official blog for The Green Chain (by writer, director and designated blogger: Mark Leiren-Young). 

Mark is the writer and director of the new Canadian feature film, The Green Chain starring Babz Chula, Jillian Fargey, Brendan Fletcher, Tricia Helfer, Scott McNeil,Tahmoh Penikett and August Schellenberg. Mark also wrote and produced the EarthVisionAward-winning TV special, Greenpieces: An Eco-Comedy, which stars his satirical trouple, Local Anxiety www.localanxiety.com. Local Anxiety specializes in environmental humour and their songs, which have been commissioned by both CBC and NPR, include their hit: “I’m White, I’m Straight, I’m Sorry.” As a journalist Mark has written for Time Magazine, Maclean’s and The Utne Reader.
